    Kathmandu valley cultural tours are rich in heritage and culture. Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal well known to the world as the city of Living Goddess (Kumari) who is worshiped and taken in a chariot procession annually.

    Pokhara at an elevation of 900 mts & 200kms west of Kathmandu, is a popular transit city for famous trekking routes. A scenic mountain side drive approximate 5/6 hours or a half hour picturesque flight will reach you there. Famous for its lakes and views of the magnificent Himalayan Peaks, this visit is recommended for those who would really like to break away as they go boating in the calm and serene waters of the Phewa Lake, or take day hikes in nearby hills and if time permits short treks into the Himalaya.

     

    Itinerary

    Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
    Afternoon: Visit Swoyambhunath and old city of Kathmandu.
    Day 02: Visit the temple Pashupatinath and Boudhanath and drive to Dhulikhel. Lunch at Dhulikhel and than drive back to Kathmandu. On the way back visit Bhaktapur.
    Day 03: Flight / drive to Pokhara and transfer to hotel. Boating on Phewa Lake.
    Day 04: View sunrise over the Annapurna range from the hotel. After breakfast visit Pokhara town and then drive / fly back to Kathmandu.
    Day 05: Drive to Dakshinkali (on the way back, stop at the Chobhar gorge.
    Afternoon visit Patan.
    Day 06: Morning free (Option for Everest flight). Transfer to airport (for onward flight).
